EVENT: UNIARM INVITATION TO BUKA PUASA AT A KAMPUNG ORANG ASLI GOMBAK ON 6TH SEPT SATURDAY.

AFTER EVENT NEWS : The weather was cloudy and damp but no heavy down pour. Food was great especially the ayam masak buloh ! ....their speciality. A must try!. Goodie bags of rice, sugar and basic materials were handed to ibu tunggal .

Objective : To create awarenes of the plight of the orang asli in Gombak and also do a prayer for our Arwah Pak dollah.
There will be orphans from nearby orphanage to break fast with us together with the orang asli of batu 16..

Small community situated in secluded forest off the main road . Scenic view, quiet spot in the gombak district forest. At the same time they are having their end of fruit season festival.
For those who wants to recce the area and go for short trip light off road the tok batin can arrange it. Please be there at 3pm.
Others who would like to check out the waterfall and the kampung come early. One other thing...no electricity line only generator power so bring your own torch light.

Doa prayers for Arwah Pak Dollah and other HAMs who have passed away.

8.00 pm Makan at the kampung
Traditional chicken cook in bamboo / Lamb BBQ

Then Short Tarawih

Non muslim can check out the kampung after Dinner

9M2DS "PAK DOLLAH" -SILENT KEY 28 TH AUG 2008

With deepest condolence and sorrow to the family of 9M2DS Abdullah Samad " Pak Dollah" , who has passed away at General Hospital 7.00 PM 28 August 2008.

Funeral was held Friday 29 th Aug after friday prayers at Masjid Jamek near Batu 5 Jalan Ipoh. He was buried near the Mosque at Batu 5.

May Allah bless his soul.

He will be sadly missed by all of us.

NEWSFLASH : 9M2DS Pak Dollah hospitalised today 27 th Aug 2008

Pak Dollah was admitted at General Hospital for lung and heart problems last night. He is currently stable but still in critical condition and under observation at the CRW unit ( Coronery Rehab Ward ) 5th Floor Main Building Kecemasan. At CRW they dont allow too many people at a time. PLease monitor 9M2RKK for the latest developement.
Let us all pray for Pak Dollah full recovery.

National Institute of Amateur Radio was established with its headquarters in Hyderabad in the year 1983 with the objective of promoting amateur radio activity in the country. Commemorating 25 glorious years of public service to the nation, we would like to celebrate with fellow hams and our members in India and abroad with activities on the band as well as at Hyderabad.
Over the last 25 years, NIAR has been successful in conducting several awareness activities at schools and colleges; organsing Dxpeditions to Andaman and Nicobar Islands & Lakshadweep Islands; training programs for ASOC examination; providing Emergency Communications; operating QSL bureau and liaison with the government of India for implementing policies and programs for development of amateur radio in the country.
We would like to extend an invitation to you to join us with family and friends for Silver Jubilee celebrations at Hyderabad during 18-20 October, 2008 and also enjoy amateur radio activity from many Indian locations after the event until to November 3, 2008.
